Increase your Immunity with this Tea - Ayurvedic Immunity Tea

Ayurvedic Turmeric Detox Tea is a daily drink to help flush out toxins in the body and help rev up the metabolism. It boosts the body's immunity and keeps you healthy through the cold months of winter.
I read about this Tea in Dr.Suhas Kshirsagar's book called The Hot Belly Diet - The 30 day plan to reset your metabolism and restore your body's natural balance.
It's a wonderful, informative book , for anyone interested in maintaining health and energy with Ayurvedic Health remedies.
This Tea is a blend of green tea, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, organic ginger powder, organic turmeric powder and lemon juice. You could add tulsi ,Indian cinnamon or mint, if you wanted to take out the green tea.
You can give this Tea to kids too; do not add green tea for them. 
You can give it once a day, with a tsp of organic honey.

Ingredients
  • 1 Quart boiling water
  • 1-2 Tablespoons thinly sliced ginger or 1 tsp Ginger powder
  • 1 Tablespoon thinly sliced fresh turmeric ( or ½ -1 tsp  ground)
  • 1-2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 1-2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 1-2 teaspoons fennel seeds
  • 1-2  bags (or Tablespoon) green tea, tulsi tea, mint tea, ginger tea
  •  5 drops of Lemon juice
  • You can add 2 cloves, 1-inch Cinnamon stick for additional benefits

Making the Immunity Tea

- Start by boiling 1 quart of water on the stovetop.
- Add all the different ingredients and let the Tea simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
- Strain the Tea , let cool.
- Drink a couple of times in a day.
- Share with your family too.
