Hope you have started the New Year with enthusiasm, optimism and a smile :)
Today's Blog post is a great way to start this New Year, helping out women/daughters in India through 'Vibhushita'.
This is about sharing our abundance during this year with women/daughters in India, with limited financial resources. This information was given to me by my student, Naina.
Ms. Priya Pullur started this initiative when she observed a need for reusing the sarees/ethnic wear that are not used, or are outgrown and are simply hanging in our closets. She collects these clothes, ships them to India where they are distributed to women and girls.

I love this idea of reusing our ethnic wear so another person can wear it and feel happy and beautiful in them.
I am setting up a collection drive from the coming week, through the Yoga Studio.
Please bring your gently-used ethnic wear/sarees when you come to your regular class.
Once we have a collection, Ms. Priya will pick them up and distribute them in India.
